We are looking for an IT Service desk consultant to join our Site IT team.
As an IT Service Specialist, you will collaborate with our desktop support and engineering team
to assist both onsite and remote users with hardware and software issues. This role is a full-time
onsite position, and you will report to the Senior Site IT Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees on both hardware and software issues.
- Prepare, configure and deploy workstations, laptops and other user devices.
- Manage technical onboarding and offboarding of users.
- Maintain documentation of systems and processes.
- Provide first- and second-level technical support to employees.
- Procure and manage hardware, software, licenses, and inventory.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in onsite Desktop IT support.
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of Active Directory administration.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to prioritise, coordinate, and organise tasks effectively.
- The ability to learn and support new applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Swedish & English.
- Documentation skills, with the ability to create guides and articles.
- Enjoy teamwork and collaboration with colleagues, vendors, and partners.
- Self-motivated with a genuine interest in IT and strong interpersonal skills
