Job Description
The IT Service Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient, timely, and high-quality delivery of IT services. This role ensures that services meet business requirements and align with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with major IT suppliers.
Strong organisational skills, team management abilities, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders are key to success in this position.
We are seeking an experienced IT professional with a passion for managing infrastructure services and driving continuous improvement. As an IT Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee our Local Infrastructure Service region and ensure the seamless delivery of IT services.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily IT Operation Management: Oversee the daily operations of local infrastructure, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, processes, and procedures.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with sourcing partners to deliver top-notch IT services.
- IT Life Cycle Management: Manage the entire IT life cycle, from procurement to disposal.
- Performance and Patch Management: Ensure optimal performance and timely patch management.
- Asset and Configuration Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets and configurations.
- Incident, Change, and Problem Management: Handle incidents, changes, and problems efficiently.
Regional Responsibilities
- IT Service Delivery: Manage IT service delivery through sourcing partners.
- Infrastructure and Operations: Oversee IT infrastructure and operations for all regional locations, including collaboration platforms (Microsoft O365), data centres, servers, storage, and network connectivity.
- Monitoring and Automation: Implement monitoring and automation solutions.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Ensure robust backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
- Service Level Management: Manage service levels and reporting.
- Security Management: Oversee security management (excluding application security).
- Project and Portfolio Management: Manage the IT operations project portfolio and resource planning.
- Capacity Planning: Plan and optimise local infrastructure capacity.
- Technical Project Management: Lead technical projects to successful completion.
- Budgeting and Costing: Manage budgeting and costing for IT services.
- Global Services: Provide global services where appropriate, leveraging standardisation and follow-the-sun capabilities.
- Telephony Management: Manage/Oversee telephony services, including Teams telephony and phone licenses.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field experience
- Proven experience in IT service delivery or IT operations roles.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Good understanding of Server, Computer and Network infrastructure.
- Well familiar with PowerShell or other scripting languages
- Experience managing teams and external vendors.
- Proficiency in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
