NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called: Study of options to strengthen the Integrated Financial Management and Information System (IFMIS) and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this Assignment is to support the Government of The Gambia in its efforts to consolidate the security, reliability, efficiency, effectiveness and seamless integration of its public financial management systems.

Location: Banjul, The Gambia.

Duration: The indicative start date is 10 May 2025 and the period of implementation of the specific contract will be 180 days from this date. Indicative end date: 6 November 2025.

IT/Systems Integration Expert (Mid-Level)

☝️Qualifications and skills:

University degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
Good command of English (CEFR C1) (minimum requirement).

☝️Experience:

7–10 years of experience in IFMIS-related system design and implementation.
Demonstrated experience providing independent verification and validation services in respect of government financial management information system implementation projects;
Familiarity with system integration, networking, relational databases, and cybersecurity and working experience in minimizing the vulnerability of Integrated Financial Management Information Systems (IFMIS) to cybersecurity risks.
Hands-on experience in financial software development, testing, and maintenance.
6-8 years working experience with implementing or assessing large, complex enterprise resource planning (ERP) projects within a public sector context.
