The Role
As the Head of IT Service Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT service management function, including ITIL processes, service delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the strategy, design, and implementation of best-in-class IT services that align with our business objectives. You will collaborate closely with your peers in Development, Operations and Infrastructure, and our various partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead ITSM Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT Service Management strategy that supports the organization's goals.
- Service Delivery Management: Ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services across the organization.
- Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to enhance ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management.
- Team Leadership: Build and manage a team of ITSM professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align IT services with business needs and drive customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Budget Management: Oversee budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions while delivering high-quality services.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT Service Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong Knowledge of ITIL: Deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and their application in a large-scale IT environment.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, manage change, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
- Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex IT concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
