As a National Technology Intern, you will drive long-term market shaping and development for Public Sector, all regulated industries, and/or other industries and create a positive environment to expand market. You will build bridges between regulatory and customer engagements as an ambassador of Microsoft and support CELA-led projects and contributes to policy-shaping efforts. You will remove sales blockers with internal and external stakeholders while supporting the field to build internal/external capacity. You will provide feedback on product capabilities and roadmap and engage within the NTO Community to share best practices.

Responsibilities
Start date: September 2025
Type of Employment: Internship
- Technical and Customer Insights: Support the local NTSO office by helping with technical and customer insights on critical infrastructure, digital sovereignty, economic trends, national data strategies and emerging technologies.
- Policy and Industry Engagement: Contribute to the work of identifying and engaging with relevant policy, advisory, industry, and standardization bodies on cutting edge technologies and business transformation.
- Regulatory Support: Support, guide and partner Microsoft’s local legal and government affairs team (CELA) in engagements with regulators on technical issues relating to key priorities (e.g., data privacy, cybersecurity, sovereignty, and compliance).
- Cybersecurity Projects: Participate in cybersecurity policy projects and strategy development.
- Network Building: Support in identifying, engaging and building networks with relevant advisory, industry and standardization bodies on cloud, data and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance Microsoft’s thought leadership.
- Public Sector Opportunities: Contribute to medium- to long-term opportunities for the Swedish Public Sector, regulated industries and other relevant industries.
- Outreach and Presentations: Support the Swedish subsidiary in outreach projects, presentations at customer meetings, podcasts, events and customer roundtables on topics such as trust, AI and security.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- You must be legally authorised to work in Sweden to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit)
- Fluent in Swedish
