We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Electrical Quality Control Engineer to oversee all quality aspects of electrical installations on a major data centre project in Sweden. This is a key leadership role within a fast-paced, high-specification environment, working alongside some of the industry’s top-tier professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical quality control team, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, international standards, and client expectations.
- Oversee all electrical inspections, testing, and commissioning documentation from pre-installation to handover.
- Act as the primary point of contact for electrical QC matters with clients, consultants, and site management.
- Proactively identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring non-conformances are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Develop and implement project-specific QC plans, and mentor junior QC staff to maintain a culture of quality on site.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and drive best practices across the project.
Requirements:
- Degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior or lead electrical QC role, preferably on data centre or mission-critical projects.
- Deep understanding of electrical systems, international codes, standards, and commissioning processes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- EU work authorization and the flexibility to work on-site in Sweden.
