As IT Specialist at BMW Northern Europe, you will join a dynamic and international team of IT specialists, IT architects and system analysts, being responsible for a variety of local applications and technical solutions to support the Northern European sales organization of the BMW Group. You will play a central role in the link between the IT organization, business teams and service providers.
What awaits you?
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and refine requirements, aligning them with system solutions in our IT landscape
- Manage IT projects from conception to execution, ensuring they align with business goals and BMW Group IT strategy
- Propose innovative solutions to enhance productivity and create value while overseeing the retirement of legacy systems for standardization
- Optimize IT operations by identifying process improvement opportunities and managing local application performance and reliability
- Coordinate with external providers and vendors, troubleshoot IT issues, and stay updated on industry trends to drive innovation
What should you bring along?
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on project management and application/system operations
- A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent field of study and/or relevant professional background and practical experience.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, processes and infrastructure (cloud and on-prem)
- It is a plus if you already have experience in the automotive industry
- You should speak and write freely in English and preferably one of the Nordic languages
