As an IT AI & Automation Specialist you will be working in a dynamic environment representing a strong and passionate brand. You will be joining a great international team of IT specialists and system analysts who are responsible for a variety of local applications and technical solutions supporting the Northern European Financial Services organization of BMW. We are seeking a talented and motivated automation specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing automation and AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation within our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful projects that align with our strategic goals.
What awaits you?
- Identify and analyze potential automation and AI use-cases within the organization.
- Review available automation and AI tools and integrate into system landscape and processes (e.g. via Rest API).
- Develop software automations within the existing system landscape when needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Monitor and maintain deployed automation processes.
- Create comprehensive documentation and provide training to end-users if needed and in collaboration with process owners.
- Foster collaboration across departments to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
What should you bring along?
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in developing solutions targeting REST APIs.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit-tests.
- Experience using python and git as a member of a professional development team, terraform is a plus.
- Understanding of concepts such as prompt engineering, RAG, hallucinations, vectorization, and adversarial examples.
- Experience in cloud computing services, especially in the areas of serverless functions and ETL solutions.
- Fluent in English and at least one more Scandinavian language (preferably Swedish), German is meritorious.
