Your role
As a Power electronics engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will be working with electromobility, power electronics and verification. Typical tasks are to be involved in pre-studies, proof-of-concept design, schematic design, certain PCB layout, on-board verification and board bring up.
In Gothenburg, we have more than 50 potential customer projects you can work in and our ambition is that you choose your next assignment, not that the customer chooses you.
The assignments we have in Gothenburg are within Automotive, telecom, the defense industry and many smaller industrial product companies where we need both junior and Senior Power Electronics Engineers. You are a team player, and the assignments require that you to work in agile teams according to Kanban or Scrum.
Your technical background is that you have a couple of years of experience within power engineering.
You Have Experience From
- Degree in Electrical / Electronics engineering or equivalent background.
- At least 3+ years of experience from power electronics field.
- Experience from verification including practical experience with measurement and measurement techniques (analogue measurements)
- Meriting if the work experience is with in the automotive sector and especially power electronic systems
- Documented experience working with Agile principles
- Good knowledge of Electrical schematics drawing, PCB layout component placement, PCB layout routing design & layout optimization.
- Good knowledge of PCB layout guidelines considering EMI/EMC aspects.
- Knowledge of electrical / electronics circuit analysis
- Working with cross functional teams & leading the system design discussions
- Self-going & structured person with practical approach in problem solving
